Here at New Ground, we love to support the future. We offer new musicians access to audiences, and opportunities to network, learn, and grow. XHunger allows students the opportunity to serve their community food banks and pantries by fighting hunger through the l.u.v.s. program. The profound difference of XHunger? It's student led. They believe in the next generation and so do we; it's "Entertainment with a purpose!"
New Ground will be donating a portion of our proceeds to XHunger.com To help end hunger in America and support this local, youth led movement.
ABOUT
Located in beautiful Lakeshore Park in West Knoxville, New Ground is a music festival focused on a new generation of music featuring nationally and regionally touring talent. Our purpose is to provide emerging local artists a chance to put themselves in front of a larger audience, with bigger artists, and get a real festival experience.
Last year, we brought Briston Maroney, Illiterate Light, and more - making New Ground II the highest attended music festival in Knoxville since spring of 2019.
In year 3, we are expanding to two full days, bringing in bigger names, and creating an even better experience! We can't wait to party with you!

SHUTTLE SERVICE
We are excited to offer a FREE Shuttle Service for all festival attendees, courtesy of Knoxville Tours!
We offer two convenient parking locations, The Bearden Brickyard parking, with nearby overflow parking (every 15 mins.), and The University Commons by the strip (every 30 mins.)
Official Afterparties
After the UT game, if you couldn’t make the festival, that’s alright because you can walk down to the strip and join us on the roof of Sunspot for 3 great sets. If you’re smart and came to the festival instead, be sure to shuttle from our convenient campus Publix Garage stop so you can walk to the afterparty!
We know Sunday recovery may be a little rough, so start the day off right with Hangover Brunch and mimosas at Bearden Brickyard Bar & Grill from noon to 2:00, where we can then shuttle you to Lakeshore Park. After a loaded Sunday lineup, we’ll shuttle you back to Brickyard where the party goes on from 8:00pm-2:00am for a mini 2 stage festival! VIP gets in free, GA $5, and non-festival attendees are $20. Come drink and dance with us all day, sound like a plan?
